So I spent last week wandering around Helsinki with kupukello, eating reindeer and salty liquorice (not together), drinking vodka at -20°C, picking blueberries, getting sunburned at 10pm, oogling boys on the metro, being assaulted by squirrels and taking too many photos. Well, that sums more or less everything...

Wow! The snow leopard picture is simply WOW!!! I recognize all the others, but where was the number 5 picture taken?

I've been wracking my brain about the shy bird (it's the one in the picture, right?). It doesn't quite look like a robin, the beak doesn't match, but I can't figure out just WHAT it is! It could also be a baby bird of some kind, too, but what, I really don't know!

The number 5 was taken somewhere around the Big White Church, the kindergarten's playground and the red building with the owls at the top of the hill behind it (Physiology you said?), that part of town anyway...

Hey, I think I found out what it could be! I'm sure 100% it belongs to the finches family, it might be a young chaffinch because I have a chaffinch photo I took at the graveyard (you never thought that a graveyard would be such an hit, didn't you?) and while the colourings are quite different the markings on the wings look quite similar...
